The CIDA-accredited program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, for advanced study, and to apply for membership in professional interior design organizations. The educator preparation programs in the School of Education at Maryville University are nationally and regionally accredited.

Initial and Advanced Teacher Certification in Early Childhood, Elementary, 初中和高中, as well as Initial (K-12 Principal) and Advanced (K-12 Superintendent) School Leader Certification programs at Maryville University are fully accredited by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP) and the State of Missouri through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

The School of Education’s national accreditation through AAQEP is valid through 2029. It involves a regular review of program alignment with the AAQEP standards through an annual report.

The School of Education’s state accreditation through DESE involves a regular process of alignment with state teacher education program standards and compliance with all aspects of appropriate Missouri state law and code.
